Dear Quest Readers,

Sir Winston Churchill said, “Never give up on something you can’t go a day without thinking about.” This resonates with me, as not a day goes by that I don’t think about many people with cancer. If you or a loved one has been affected, you will know exactly what I mean.
Yet, every day, increasingly more patients are having their useful life extended and suffering diminished through the availability of new diagnostic tests and treatments that were not available until recent years and have emerged from biomedical research and information technology.

These important advancements have been supported not only by public funds but also to a significant extent by private donations. As we enter the end-of-year holiday season, I ask you to consider a donation to the Urological Research Foundation in your charitable giving to strengthen our quest for better care of patients with cancer.
I send you my sincere warm wishes for a joy-filled holiday season and a happy, healthy new year.
Sincerely,
William J. Catalona, M.D.
Medical Director of the Urological
Research Foundation
