IN MEMORIUM: William J. McKenna, Esteemed URF Board Member

On August 31, 2025, URF Board Member, William “Bill” J. McKenna, passed away peacefully at his home in Fulton, Maryland. Born in Chicago he served as a Captain in the US Naval Reserves for 22 years. Following his military career, he earned an MBA from Northwestern Kellogg School of Business and became an entrepreneur and pioneer in the television media research industry. Bill served as a member of the URF Board for two decades where he earned the respect and affection of his fellow Board members through offering tech-savvy financial advice and warm friendship. He is survived by his wife,Evelyn, five children, two stepchildren, and five grandchildren.
